Experiences at the University
Lots of wonderful experience at Eliot Hall, HKU. Everyone is nice and helpful to each other. I treasure the opportunity to work with friends and colleagues from different countries. We learn from each other.
Work experience and present expertise since leaving the University.
I am passionate about fungal ecology and evolution. I have been studying the evolutionary genetics of fungal pathogens in postdoctoral research.
Now I am a Molecular Scientist in Sidra Medicine, a children hospital in Qatar, where I am using a whole genome approach for infectious disease diagnosis and epidemiology. Happy to connect.
Alumni wisdom
Enjoy the student life
Personal details
I am not a morning person and enjoy working at night.
Kevin was mad, saying ” I am his first graduate student not coming to work at 9am.” hahaha
