Experiences at the University

Hong Kong University provided me with some wonderful opportunities and I enjoyed my studies there.

Work experience and present expertise since leaving the University.

I work as a private contractor to Landcare Research (New Zealand) using pathogenic fungi for the biological control of weeds.

Alumni wisdom

If ever you feel there is just too much work ahead of you, take a moment to look behind at all the work you have already accomplished. Remember that the way to eat an elephant is one mouthful at a time.

Personal details

I live in New Zealand on a small farm with my husband, three children, 10 sheep and many pets. I have been very lucky in that I have been able to undertake research work part-time, and from home, while raising my family.
